Step 5: Power on the storage system
1. Confirm that the power cables on the rear panel are connected to separate PDUs, as shown in the following figure.
Then connect the PDUs to external power sources.
NoteFor best practice, establish power redundancy by routing the power connections from each PDU to external
power sources on different branch circuits.
To prevent the storage system from being turned off by accident, make sure the external power sources are not
controlled by a wall switch.
