How to fit the siren

STEP 1 Positioning

Assess where best to position the Siren. It should be at a height between 2.5m to 3.5m.

STEP 2 Drill hole

Drill a 6mm pilot hole from the outside to the inside, then use a 12mm drill bit.

STEP 3 Thread the cable

Cover cable end, thread from inside to outside, connect to power supply, and switch on.

STEP 4 Fit the mounting plate

Mark holes, drill, insert plugs, screw in, thread cable, attach plate, and tighten screws.

STEP 5 Prepare the Siren for fitting

Unscrew battery compartment, remove tab, replace compartment, and tighten screw.

STEP 6 Fit the Siren

Insert power cable, wrap around guide, push excess cable back, and slide Siren onto mounting plate.

STEP 7 Tidy up

Pull excess cable inside, ensure power is connected and switched on.

How to use the Siren

Triggering the Siren

Ensure Siren sounds in alarm by adding it to a Mode. Default is output in Away mode.

Siren Light

Siren light flashes automatically when Siren sounds. Can be used as a Hive Light.

Siren chirp

Siren chirps to remind you to deactivate HomeShield when returning home.

Troubleshooting

How to turn off Tamper alarm

Disable tamper detect for 30 minutes via Settings to move siren or change batteries.

Reset Siren

Disconnect and reconnect power cable 5 times to enter pairing mode.
