Maintenance and Care
MirageDrive Regular Maintenance
Checking Cable
Tension
Visit hobie.com/support for information on the MirageDrive.
Cables should be
tight enough so they
can only be slightly
squeezed in under
firm finger pressure.
After tensioning
the cables, the fins
should be able to
fall freely under
their own weight to
a vertically position
when holding the
drive by one crank.
Note: Excessive sediment on
the drive can impair function,
rinse thoroughly after ever
use to avoid this.
Use lubricant on the chain
components frequently.
