Child proof lock
The rear doors on the vehicle can be
locked to prevent children from opening
them from the inside.
The locks are provided on the rear edge
of rear doors, accessible when the door
is open.
To prevent the doors from being opened
from the inside, use the ignition key to
turn the switch clockwise away from the
vertical position.
Turn the switch anticlockwise to the
vertical position to disengage the lock.
The door can not be opened from inside,
regardless of the lock button position
however, the door can be opened from
the outside.
WARNING
For safety, you should check if the lock is operating correctly by attempting to
open the door from the inside after the lock has been engaged.
Bonnet release
To open the bonnet pull the release
handle located at the lower right side of
the dashboard.
To release the bonnet pull the lever
toward you. The bonnet is prevented from
opening fully by a safety catch.
To open the bonnet completely, reach
under the bonnet to the driver’s side of the
emblem and push up on the front edge
of the release catch. Hold in this position
and raise the bonnet.
After you have partially lifted the bonnet,
gas struts automatically take over to lift
and hold the bonnet in the fully open
position.
To close, lower the bonnet gradually until
it is about 30 cm from closed, and then
push it down to close fully.
Pull on the front edge of the bonnet to
ensure it is latched securely before driving
the vehicle.
