Note
Positioning a child restraint in front
of an adjustable head restraint:
• If using a dual tether, route the
tether around either side of the
head restraint.
• If using a single tether, raise
the head restraint and route the
tether under the head restraint
between the two mounting posts.
Tighten the tether straps following
the instructions supplied with the
child restraint.

1. Place the child restraint on the
second row rear seat.
2. Attach the child restraint to the
anchors following the instructions
supplied with the child restraint.
3. Attach the clip on the child
restraint tether strap (A) to the
tether anchor (B), ensuring there
are no twists in the tether strap.
ISOFIX child restraint systems
Fasten vehicle-approved ISOFIX
child restraint systems to the ISOFIX
mounting brackets.
Note Ensure that seat belt buckles
are placed out of the way of the
child seat.
ISOFIX mounting brackets are
indicated by a label on the seatback,
as shown. In addition to the ISOFIX
mounting, fasten the top-tether
straps to the top-tether anchorage
points. See Attaching the child
restraint on page 47.
