7.3 Assembling the Freeze Dryer

7.3.1 Connect the vacuum pump to the freeze dryer

• The connector for the vacuum pump is located at the upper right corner at the

back of the freeze dryer (Figure 1).

• Insert the sealing ring into the vacuum pump connector and place the clamp

around the vacuum pump connector but do not tighten the clamp (Figure 2).
