7.3.3 Connect the freeze dryer to the power supply

• Locate the power connectors for the main unit and the vacuum pump at the right
side of the freeze dryer (Figure 8).
• Connect the vacuum pump power plug to the vacuum pump power connector.
• Connect one side of the main unit power cord to the power connector and
connect the other side to the electrical power outlet.

• Locate the main unit power switch under the touch screen.
• Turn the power switch to “ON”. A red light will appear to indicate the power
switch is “ON” as shown in Figure 9. The touch screen should also turn on.
