  A noisy fan may be caused by several factors. First, make sure all motor housing screws are snug and that the screws attaching the fan blade bracket to the motor hub are tight. Check that the wire nut connections are not rattling against each other or the interior wall of the switch housing. Allow a 24-hour 'breaking in' period for the fan, as most noises disappear during this time. If you're using a light kit, ensure the screws securing the glassware and the light bulbs themselves are tight. Also, ensure the canopy is not touching the ceiling and that your outlet box is secure, with rubber isolator pads used between the mounting plate and outlet box.

Run the fan for ten minutes, and if the wobbling continues, contact Customer Service for a free balancing kit.
