How to fix Home Decorators Collection MAKENNA Fan wobble?
    • R
      Riley HamiltonAug 8, 2025
To fix a wobbling Home Decorators Collection Fan, start by checking that all blade and blade arm screws are secure. Unequal blade levels often cause wobble. To check this, measure from a point on the center of each blade to a point on the ceiling above the blade tip; any deviation should be within 1/8 inch. Run the fan for ten minutes; if wobbling continues, contact Customer Service for a free balancing kit.

Why is my Home Decorators Collection MAKENNA so noisy?
    • E
      Eric MitchellAug 18, 2025
If your Home Decorators Collection Fan is noisy, make sure all motor housing screws are snug. Also, check that the screws attaching the fan blade bracket to the motor hub are tight. Ensure wire nut connections aren't rattling against each other or the switch housing's interior wall. Allow a 24-hour “breaking in” period, as most new fan noises disappear then. If using a light kit, tighten the glassware screws and ensure the light bulbs are secure. The canopy should also be a short distance from, but not touching, the ceiling. Lastly, confirm your outlet box is secure and rubber isolator pads were used between the mounting plate and outlet box.
