Why won't my Homelite HBHT2655 start?

There are several reasons why your Homelite Trimmer might not start. It could be due to no spark. To check for spark, remove the spark plug, reattach the spark plug cap, and lay the spark plug on the metal cylinder. Pull the starter rope and watch for a spark at the spark plug tip. If there's no spark, repeat the test with a new spark plug. Another reason could be no fuel. Push the primer bulb until it's full of fuel. If it doesn't fill, the primary fuel delivery system might be blocked. Also, the engine may be flooded. Remove the spark plug, turn the engine to aim the spark plug hole at the ground, adjust the choke lever to the position, and pull the starter cord 10-15 times to clear excess fuel. Clean and reinstall the spark plug. Clean up any spilled fuel and move at least 9 meters away...
