WHEEL/BRAKE/SUSPENSION

Do
not
jack
up
the
motorcycle
using
the
oil
filter.
REMOVAL
CAUTION:
Loosen the axle nut.
Loosen
the
drive
chain adjusters on both sides
of
the
swingarm.
DRIVE
CHAIN ADJUSTER.
Raise and
support
the
motorcycle
using a hoist
or
jack.
REAR WHEEL
Disconnect
the
brake rod
from
the brake arm.
Remove
the
cotter pin, nut, washers and
bolt
from
the
stopper
arm on the brake panel.
Remove the axle
nut, right side collar and rear axle.
Side
the
rear wheel
forward
and remove
the
drive
chain
from
the
driven sprocket.
Remove
the
rear wheel.
INSPECTION
AXLE
Place
the
axle in V-blocks and measure the runout.
Actual
runout
is
1/2
the total indicator reading.
SERVICE LIMIT:
0.20
mm
(0.008 in)
