Battery Removal:
The battery (1) is in the battery box behind the
right side cover
1. Remove the right side cover(page 53).
2. Remove the rider seat. (page 49).
3. Unhook the strap (2).
4. First disconnect the negative (-) terminal
lead (3) from the battery, then disconnect
the positive (+) terminal lead (4).
5. Pull out the battery from the battery box (5).
To reassemble the battery:
When reassembling the battery, make sure
you feed the siphon (6), vent tube (7), drain
tube(8), positive battery terminal wire (+) (9)
and negative battery terminal wire (-) (10)
under the belt (2) as shown in the drawing on
page 112.
