Honda CBF600S - Bearing Replacement

FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING

Remove the steering stem bearing adjustment nut
using the special tool.
Remove the bolt and separate brake pipe joint.
Remove the mounting bolt and stay.
Remove the following:
– Dust seal
– Upper bearing inner race
– Upper bearing
– Steering stem
– Lower bearing
BEARING REPLACEMENT
Always replace the
bearings and races
asaset.
Replace the races using the Ball Race Remover Set
as described in the following procedure.
TOOL:
Steering stem socket 07916-3710101
STEERING STEM SOCKET
ADJUSTMENT NUT
CBF600SA/NA only:
Be careful not to
bend or damage
the brake pipes.
