Observe the following precautions to ensure proper GFCI operation and
to reduce shock hazards:
l Use grounded 3-conductor extension cords, tools, and appliances,
or double-insulated tools and appliances.
l Inspect cords and plugs, and replace if damaged.
l Do not use cord lengths greater than 164 feet (50 meters), and do not
use multiple tools and appliances with built-in noise filters. Such use
may activate the GFCI and trip the circuit breaker.
