Inspecting the Front Brake
Pads
Check the condition of the brake pad wear
indicators.
The pads need to be replaced if a brake pad
is worn to the indicator.
Inspect the brake pads from below the brake
caliper.
If necessary, have the pads replaced by your
authorised dealer.
Always replace both left and right brake pads at
the same time.
Inspecting the Rear Brake Lever
Freeplay
1.
Place the vehicle on its centre stand.
2.
Measure the distance the rear brake lever
moves before the brake takes hold.
Freeplay at the tip of the brake lever:
10 - 20 mm (0.4 - 0.8 in)
