STARTER GRIP
Change the engine oil (page ).
Remove the spark plug (page ).
Pour a tablespoon (5 10 cc) of
clean engine oil into the cylinder.
Pull the starter rope slowly
several times to distribute the oil.
Reinstall the spark plug.
Check the air pressure (page ).
Pull the starter grip slowly until
you feel resistance, then return
the starter grip gently. This will
close the valves so moisture
cannot enter the engine cylinder.
