6. OPERATION (TILLER HANDLE TYPE)

Steering

RIGHT TURN

Move

the tiller

handle to the left.

LEFT TURN

Move the tiller

handle to the right.

The tiller handle is moved in the oppo-

site direction in which you want the

boat to turn.

Cruising

THRO&LE GRIP b

With the gearshift lever in the F (for-

ward) position, turn the throttle grip

toward the FAST mark to increase

speed. For optimum fuel economy,

limit throttle opening to 2/3.

RELEASE

To set the throttle at a steady speed,

turn the throttle friction knob clock-

wise. To release the throttle grip for

manual speed control, turn the friction

knob counterclockwise.
