What to do in an emergency
If any of the following occur, immediately see
your doctor.
● Electrolyte splashes into your eyes:
u Wash your eyes repeatedly with cool
water for at least 15 minutes. Using
water under pressure can damage your
eyes.
● Electrolyte splashes onto your skin:
u Remove affected clothing and wash
your skin thoroughly using water.
● Electrolyte splashes into your mouth:
u Rinse mouth thoroughly with water, and
do not swallow.

Cleaning the Battery Terminals

If the terminals are starting to corrode and are
coated with a white substance, wash with
warm water and wipe clean.
The battery gives off explosive hydrogen
gas during normal operation.
A spark or flame can cause the battery
to explode with enough force to kill or
seriously hurt you.
Wear protective clothing and a face
shield, or have a skilled mechanic do the
battery servicing.
