Cleaning & Changing Air
Cleaner Element
Use a new Honda Genuine air cleaner
element or equivalent specified for your
motorcycle.
NOTICE
Using the wrong air cleaner element can result in
serious damage to the engine.
1.
Remove the air cleaner case cover by
removing the screws.
2.
Pull out the air cleaner element and check
it for any damage.
u Blow away the remaining dust by
applying compressed air from the
outside of the air cleaner element.
u Replace the air cleaner element if it is
excessively dirty, torn or damage.
3.
Thoroughly clean the inside of the air
cleaner case and the air cleaner cover.
4.
Install the air cleaner element or a new
one.
5.
Install the parts in the reverse order of
removal.
