However, if the odor persists, check the Honeycomb Cooling Media for mold or algae. If present, remove and replace the media. Contact the Customer Service Center for further assistance.

  If your Honeywell Air Cooler (specifically an outdoor model) gets wet from rain, a small amount of rain is generally not an issue, provided the electrical plug and outlet remain dry. If they are wet, do not touch the unit or the electrical components. First, switch off the master power to the outlet before unplugging the unit. Ensure everything is completely dry before using the unit again. The Air Cooler is designed to IPX4 product standards and it is not recommended to be placed outdoors during heavy rain conditions. Do not operate the Air Cooler when wet. Wait for the Air Cooler to dry before plugging in and turning on the unit again.
