■■ Loosen the terminal screws and slip each
wire beneath its matching terminal. See
illustration (lower right) for wire insertion
technique. Securely tighten the terminals.
■■ Plug the hole in the wall with insulation to
help prevent drafts from adversely affecting
the thermostat operation.
