Built-in compressor protection

This feature helps prevent d am age to the
com pressor in your air conditioning or heat
pum p system .
D a m ag e can occur if the com pressor is
restarted too soon after shu tdow n. This feaî
ture forces the com pressor to w a it for a few
m inutes b efore restarting.
During th e w ait tim e, the display will flash the
m es sage C ool On or Heat O n . W hen the safe
w a it tim e has e lapse d, the m essag e stops
flashing and the com presso r turns on.
