Connect the common side of the
transformer to “C” terminal. This
connection is mandatory.
Remove tab.
The thermostat is shipped from the factory
with the coin cell installed. To keep the bat-
tery from discharging during shipment and
storage, the thermostat is shipped with a
plastic tab inserted in the battery holder.
This tab must be removed during installa-
tion. Simply pull the plastic tab out of the
battery tray. Make sure that the battery tray
is fully inserted into the thermostat.
Push excess wire back into the wall opening. Plug
wall opening with non-flammable insulation.
Remove factory-installed jumper only
for two-transformer systems.
