Rernove filter (B) from top of cup.
Empty cup, making sure to hold cup with Pivot cyclonic cone away from filter and
dirt port (C) facing up. push filter inside out through filter frame.
Brush the surface of filter to remove any
clinging litter. (Filter and cone may be
washed in warm water. They must be
completely dry before replacing in clean-
er. DO not use cleaner without filter
and cone in place.)
Push filter back through frame and
pull it right side out.
Pivot cone back into place.
Place filter assembly on top of cup as
shown and push frame fully into cup.
Te-Jb (D) on the frame fits down into slot (E)
in the cup.
Slide filter assembly into cleaner body
and latch cup into position.

How to clean
Disconnect cleaner from electrical
outlet.
The secondary filter (F)protects the motor
from dirt particles and does not need to
be removed for Gleaning.
The filter is located on the inside top of
the cleaner body and can seen when the
dirt cup and filter are removed. When the
filter becomes dirty, it can be cleaned by
wiping it off with a damp cloth.

How to clean
Disconnect cleaner from electrical
outlet,
To maintain cleaning effectiveness, peri-
odically remove lint, strings, etc. from the
brush roll either from the bottom of the
nozzle (C}) or by removing the Brush View
Window, (m), on top of the nozzle.
To remove Window, turn cleaner over and
remove 2 Phillips screws at each end of
the nozzle. Turn cleaner over and lift off
Window.
