Usage Features

  • Control Panel: Features an ON-OFF/Reset button, a wash cycle selection button (P), and indicator lights for Low Salt, Low Rinse Aid, and various wash cycles (Eco, 1/2 Load, Auto).
  • Wash Cycles:
    • Eco (Standard Cleaning Cycle): Suitable for normally soiled tableware, offering the most efficient combined energy and water consumption. Duration: 03:00', Water: 10 L, Energy: 0.74 kWh.
    • Auto Intensive: For heavily soiled dishes and pans (not for delicate items). Duration: 02:20' - 3:00', Water: 13.0 - 14.0 L, Energy: 1.20 - 1.40 kWh.
    • Auto Normal: For normally soiled dishes and pans. Duration: 1:40' - 2:20', Water: 13.5 - 14.5 L, Energy: 1.00 - 1.15 kWh.
    • Express: A quick cycle for lightly soiled dishes (ideal for 2 place settings). Duration: 00:40', Water: 8.5 L, Energy: 0.80 kWh.
    • Soak: Pre-wash cycle for dishes awaiting a full load, without detergent. Duration: 00:10', Water: 4 L, Energy: 0.01 kWh.
    • Half Load (1/2): Ideal for washing a small quantity of normally soiled dishes. Duration: 01:10', Water: 10.5 L, Energy: 0.95 kWh.
  • Detergent Dispenser: Divided into compartments for wash detergent (A) and pre-wash detergent (B). For tablets, one tablet goes in compartment A, and a second (if needed) on the bottom of the appliance.
  • Refined Salt System: Prevents limescale formation. The salt dispenser should be filled when the LOW SALT indicator light is on or when the green float on the cap is no longer visible. Water hardness can be adjusted through a setting procedure (holding button P for 5 seconds, then selecting the desired level).
  • Rinse Aid Dispenser: Facilitates drying. Fill when the LOW RINSE AID indicator light is on or when the optical indicator on the dispenser door becomes transparent. The amount of rinse aid can be adjusted using an adjuster (F) to optimize drying results.
  • Rack Loading:
    • Upper Rack: Designed for delicate and lightweight crockery like glasses, cups, saucers, and shallow salad bowls. Features tip-up compartments (adjustable to three heights) for wine glasses and other items.
    • Lower Rack: Accommodates pans, lids, dishes, salad bowls, and cutlery. Heavily soiled items should be placed here due to stronger water sprays.
    • Cutlery Basket: Positioned at the front of the lower rack, with top grilles for improved cutlery arrangement.
    • Tray (selected models): A sliding tray for small crockery and cutlery, removable for bulky items.
  • Adjustable Upper Rack: The height of the upper rack can be adjusted (high for bulky items in the lower rack, low for more space upwards) when the rack is empty. Some models feature a "Lift-Up device" for easy adjustment.
  • Unsuitable Crockery: Wooden items, delicate decorated glasses, antique crockery, synthetic materials not resistant to high temperatures, copper and tin items, and crockery soiled with ash, wax, grease, or ink should not be washed in the dishwasher.
  • Starting a Wash Cycle: Turn on water tap, open door, press ON/OFF, load detergent and racks, select wash cycle (P button) and options, then close the door. The cycle ends with beeps and flashing indicator light.
  • Changing a Wash Cycle: Possible if the cycle has just begun by pressing and holding ON/OFF, then restarting and selecting a new cycle.
  • Adding Extra Crockery: Open the door (careful of steam), add items, and close the door to resume the cycle.
  • Accidental Interruptions: The cycle pauses if the door is opened or during a power cut and resumes when the door is closed or power is restored.
  • Automatic Shut-off: The machine automatically switches off during long periods of inactivity to minimize electricity consumption.

Maintenance Features

  • Shutting Off Supplies: Turn off the water tap after each wash cycle and unplug the appliance during cleaning or maintenance.
  • Cleaning the Dishwasher:
    • External Surfaces and Control Panel: Clean with a non-abrasive cloth dampened with water. Avoid solvents or abrasive products.
    • Internal Marks: Remove with a cloth dampened with water and a little vinegar.
    • Preventing Unpleasant Odours: Keep the door ajar to prevent moisture buildup. Regularly clean door seals and detergent dispensers with a damp sponge to prevent food residue accumulation.
  • Cleaning the Spray Arms: Check regularly for food residue and clean with a small non-metallic brush. Both upper and lower spray arms can be removed for cleaning (upper arm by turning a plastic locking ring anti-clockwise, lower arm by pulling upwards from side tabs). Ensure the upper spray arm is replaced with the side with more holes facing upwards.
  • Cleaning the Filters: The filter assembly (cylindrical filter C, cup filter B, stainless-steel plate filter A) must be cleaned regularly under running water with a non-metallic brush. Remove filter C by turning anti-clockwise, then remove filter B by pressing side flaps, and slide out filter A. Inspect the trap for food residues (do not remove the black wash-cycle pump protection). Reassemble correctly after cleaning.
  • Cleaning the Water Inlet Hose (selected models): If water hoses are new or unused for a long time, let water run until clear before connecting. Regularly clean the water inlet filter at the tap outlet by turning off the tap, unscrewing the hose, removing the filter, cleaning it, and re-screwing it.
  • Extended Periods of Non-Use: Disconnect from electricity, shut off water tap, leave door ajar. Run an empty wash cycle upon return.
