First Time Use
Salt, Rinse Aid and Detergent:
Before first use, remove stoppers from racks and retaining elastic elements.
Filling the Salt Reservoir:
Salt prevents limescale formation. The reservoir is located in the lower part of the dishwasher and should be filled when the SALT REFILL indicator light is on.
- Remove the lower rack and unscrew the reservoir cap.
- Fill the reservoir with water (first time only).
- Use a funnel to fill with approximately 1 kg of salt.
- Remove the funnel and clean any salt residue.
- Screw the cap on tightly.
It is recommended to add salt before starting a wash cycle.
Setting the Water Hardness:
This ensures optimal performance of the water softener.
- Switch the appliance ON, then OFF.
- Press and hold the START/Pause button for 5 seconds until a beep sounds.
- Switch the appliance ON. The ON/OFF LED will flash according to the current setting.
- Use the PROGRAM SELECTION knob to set the desired water hardness level (from 1 ECO Soft to 5 Very hard).
- Switch the appliance OFF.
The factory setting is for average (3) water hardness. After setting, run a program without loading.
Filling the Rinse Aid Dispenser:
Rinse aid aids drying. The dispenser should be filled when the RINSE AID REFILL indicator light is on.
- Open dispenser B by pressing and pulling up the tab.
- Pour in rinse aid (max. 110 ml), avoiding overflow.
- Close the lid until it clicks.
Never pour rinse aid directly into the appliance tub.
Adjusting the Dosage of Rinse Aid:
If drying results are unsatisfactory, adjust the rinse aid quantity.
- Switch the dishwasher ON, then OFF.
- Press the START/Pause button three times (a beep will sound).
- Switch the dishwasher ON. The START LED light will flash according to the current setting.
- Use the PROGRAM SELECTION knob to set the desired rinse aid quantity (1 ECO to 5).
- Switch the dishwasher OFF.
Setting to 1 (ECO) means no rinse aid will be supplied. If bluish streaks appear, set a lower number (2-3). If water drops or limescale marks appear, set a mid-range number (4-5).
Filling the Detergent Dispenser:
- Open the detergent dispenser using device A.
- Introduce detergent into the dry dispenser B. For pre-washing, place detergent directly inside the tub.
- Refer to dosing indications inside dispenser B.
- Remove residues and close the cover until it clicks.
- Close the lid by pulling it up until the closing device is secured.
The dispenser opens automatically during the program. For all-in-one detergents, use the TABLET button for optimal washing and drying.
Programs Table

- 3 Normal (55°C): Mixed soil, for normally soiled dishes with dried food residues. Duration: 2:30, Water: 15.0L, Energy: 1.3 kWh.
- 4 Delicates (45°C): For delicate items like glasses and cups, sensitive to high temperatures. Duration: 1:40, Water: 11.5L, Energy: 1.0 kWh.
- 5 Express 30' (50°C): For lightly-soiled dishes with no dried food residues. Duration: 0:30, Water: 8.5L, Energy: 0.5 kWh.
- 6 Half Load (50°C): Ideal for washing a half load of lightly or normally soiled crockery. Duration: 1:15, Water: 11.0L, Energy: 0.9 kWh.
- 7 Soak: To refresh crockery planned to be washed later. No detergent needed. Duration: 0:10, Water: 4.5L, Energy: 0.01 kWh.
Notes:
- ECO program data is measured under European Standard EN 50242.
- Pre-treatment of dishes is not needed.
- Not all options can be used simultaneously.
- Program durations are estimates and can vary based on factors like water temperature, load, and selected options.
- Standby consumption: Left-on mode 5W, Off mode 0.5W.
- Express cycles are most effective for lightly soiled dishes.
- To reduce consumption, run the dishwasher only when full.
Options and Functions
Options are selected by pressing the corresponding button. Incompatible options will cause the LED to flash rapidly three times and a beep to sound.
-
DELAY: Delays the program start by 2, 4, or 8 hours.
- Select program and other options.
- Press DELAY button; indicator light illuminates.
- Press DELAY repeatedly to select desired delay (2, 4, or 8 hours). Pressing again deselects the option.
- Press START/Pause to begin countdown. The delay indicator and START/Pause button will be lit.
- After the delay, the program starts, and the delay indicator turns off.
The DELAY function cannot be set once a program has started.
-
TABLET (Tab): Optimizes performance for combined detergent tablets (rinse aid, salt, detergent in one dose). Press the TABLET button to activate (indicator light illuminates). This option should be off for powder or liquid detergent.
-
DRAIN OUT: Stops and cancels the active cycle. A long press of the START/Pause button activates this function, draining the water.
Loading the Racks
Upper Rack:
Load delicate and light dishes: glasses, cups, saucers, low salad bowls.
Adjusting the Height of the Upper Rack:
The upper rack height can be adjusted to accommodate bulky crockery in the lower basket or to maximize space in the upper rack.
The rack is equipped with a Upper Rack height adjuster. To raise, simply hold the rack sides and lift until stable. To lower, press levers (A) at the sides and move the basket down.
It is strongly recommended not to adjust the height when the rack is loaded. Never raise or lower one side only.
Foldable Flaps with Adjustable Position:
Side foldable flaps can be positioned at three different heights to optimize crockery arrangement. Wine glasses can be placed safely by inserting stems into the slots. For optimal drying, incline the flaps more. To change inclination, pull up the flap, slide it slightly, and position as desired.
Lower Rack:
Load pots, lids, plates, salad bowls, cutlery, etc. Large plates and lids should be placed at the sides to avoid interfering with the spray arm.
Cutlery Basket:
Fitted with top grids for improved cutlery arrangement. Must be positioned at the front of the lower rack. Knives and sharp utensils should be placed with points facing downwards or horizontally in the tip-up compartments of the upper rack.
Daily Use
- Check Water Connection: Ensure the dishwasher is connected to the water supply and the tap is open.
- Switch On the Dishwasher: Press the ON/OFF button.
- Load the Racks: Arrange crockery as described in "Loading the Racks."
- Filling the Detergent Dispenser: Add detergent as described in "First Time Use."
- Choose the Program and Customise the Cycle: Select the appropriate program using the PROGRAM SELECTION knob and choose desired options.
- Start: Press the START/Pause button. A beep indicates the program has started.
- End of Wash Cycle: Beeps and the ON/OFF LED indicate the end of the cycle. Switch off the appliance, open the door, and wait a few minutes before unloading to avoid burns. Unload the lower rack first.
The machine automatically switches off during extended periods of inactivity to minimize electricity consumption. Reduce detergent for lightly soiled or pre-rinsed crockery.
Modifying a Running Program:
If a wrong program was selected at the beginning:
- Press and hold the ON/OFF button to switch off.
- Switch the machine back on.
- Select the new program and options.
- Press START/Pause to start the new cycle.
Adding Extra Crockery:
Open the door (beware of hot steam!) and place crockery inside. Close the door and press START/Pause to resume the cycle from where it was interrupted.
Accidental Interruptions:
If the door is opened or there is a power cut, the cycle stops. Once the door is closed or power is restored, press START/Pause to resume the cycle.
Advice and Tips
Tips:
- Remove all food residues and empty glasses before loading. No pre-rinsing under running water is needed.
- Arrange crockery firmly, with openings facing downwards, allowing water to reach all surfaces.
- Ensure lids, handles, trays, and frying pans do not obstruct spray arm rotation.
- Place small items in the cutlery basket.
- Place very soiled dishes and pans in the lower basket for stronger wash performance.
- After loading, ensure spray arms can rotate freely.
Hygiene:
To prevent odors and sediment, run a high-temperature program at least once a month with a teaspoon of detergent and no loading.
Unsuitable Crockery:
- Wooden crockery and cutlery.
- Delicate decorated glasses, artistic handicraft, and antique crockery (decorations not resistant).
- Synthetic materials not resistant to high temperatures.
- Copper and tin crockery.
- Crockery soiled with ash, wax, lubricating grease, or ink.
- Colors of glass decorations and aluminum/silver pieces may change or fade. Some crystal objects may become opaque after multiple washes.
Damage to Glass and Crockery:
- Only use dishwasher-safe glasses and porcelain.
- Use a delicate detergent.
- Collect glasses and cutlery as soon as the wash cycle is over.
Care and Maintenance
Cleaning the Filter Assembly:
Regularly clean the filter assembly to prevent clogging and ensure proper wastewater flow. The assembly consists of three filters. The dishwasher must not be used without filters or if they are loose.
After several washes:
- Turn cylindrical filter A anti-clockwise and pull it out.
- Remove cup filter B by pressing side flaps.
- Slide out stainless-steel plate filter C.
- Inspect the trap and remove any food residues. Never remove the wash-cycle pump protection (black detail).
After cleaning, replace the filter assembly and fix it correctly.
Cleaning the Spray Arms:
Food residue can encrust and block spray arm holes. Check and clean them with a small non-metallic brush periodically.
To remove the upper spray arm, turn the plastic locking ring anti-clockwise. Replace it with the side with more holes facing upwards.
The lower spray arm can be removed by pulling it upwards.
Cleaning the Water Inlet Hose:
If water hoses are new or unused for an extended period, let water run until clear and free of impurities before connecting. This prevents blockages and damage to the dishwasher.
