Use the remote to set the temperature higher than the current room temperature. Note that heating may take longer in extremely cold conditions. Also, the unit may automatically enter defrost mode in very low outside temperatures, which will temporarily stop heating and display “dF”. Heating will resume once the outside heat exchanger is clear.
