Operation
Before you start, make sure the mower is placed on grass devoid of rocks and loose branches:
WARNING:
Never carry or tilt the mower with the carburetor leaning
toward the ground. This will cause gasoline and engine oil to
f low through the carburetor and soak the air f ilter. Replace the
soaked air f ilter before attempting to start the engine.
Starting the Engine
1.
Connect the wire to the spark plug.
2.
Turn the fuel valve to the ON position (Fig. 7)

Open the fuel tank vent by turning the vent knob at least 2 or 3 turns counterclockwise.
