Separation pad removal - 500-sheet paper feeder
1 Remove Tray 3.
2 Push the lifting plate (1) down.
3 Unhook the two claws (2) and remove the separation pad (3).

Pick-up drive unit removal - 500-sheet paper feeder
1 Remove the right cover. See Right cover removal - 500-sheet paper feeder.
2 Disconnect two connectors (1).
3 Release the cables from the cable guide (2).
4 Remove four screws (3) and remove the pick-up drive unit (4).
