3 Remove the two upper screws (callout 1), and then remove the paper feed assembly.
Hint After replacing the paper feed assembly, make sure to insert the two upper screws only. The two lower
screws are for holding the tray 1 pickup assembly in place. Ensure the lower sheet-metal guide hangs
down loosely.
Hint For replacement of the paper feed assembly, orient the clutch properly by inserting the tab into the
slot, as shown.
