3-121 Command may also be terminated by asserting EOi
on the HP-IB concurrently with the last character of the com¬
mand. For example:

requires no semicolon or linefeed. Asserting £0! in conjunc¬
tion with a terminator will have no adverse effect.
3-122 Termination for Data Sent to Controller. All data
returned to the controller are terminated by a carriage return
character followed Immediately by a linefeed character. EOI is
asserted concurrently with linefeed.
3-123 Voltage Setting. Voltage is programmed in either
volts or millivolts using any of the following codes (the value
5 is used as an example):
3-124 The programmed voltage is the actual output if the
power supply is in CV mode, or the voltage limit if the power
supply is in CC mode.
3-125 The voltage setting may be read by sending:
VSET?
and addressing the power supply to talk.
3-126 The power supply can be instructed to measure Its
actual output voltage by sending;
VOUT?
The results are placed on the HP-IS when the power supply
is addressed to talk, in this format (using 20 as an example):
VOUT 20.000
NOTE
The programming resolution (LSB) for the VSET
andlSET commandsare 15 mV and 2.5 mA respec¬
tively. The power supply will round off settings
received to the nearest multiple of these values.
