3. Remove the two HM5.0×9.0 screw locks (2) that secure the top cover to the computer.
4. Turn the computer right-side up, with the front toward you.
5. Disconnect the TouchPad cable (1) from the system board.
NOTE: Step 6 applies only to HP Compaq 6715b and 6710b computer models.
6. Disconnect the fingerprint reader board cable (2) from the system board.
7. Remove the microphone (3) from the clip built into the top cover and remove the microphone cable
from the clips built into the top cover.
