These
xtures
are
used
to
hold
devices for
S-parameter measurements
in a
50 ohm
coaxial
circuit.
They
can
be
used
to
measure bipolar
or eld-eect
transistors in
several congurations
,
from
dc
to 2.0
GHz. The
HP 11600B
accepts transistors
with
TO-18
to
TO-72
package
dimensions
,
and
the
HP 11602B
accepts transistors
with
TO-5
to
TO-12
package
dimensions
.
Both
xtures
can
also
be
used
to
measure
other
circuit
elements such
as
diodes
,
resistors
,
or
inductors
, which
have 0.016
to
0.019
inch
diameter
leads
.
