Internal control-panel cable
1. Remove the following items:

Flatbed unit. See
Flatbed scanner assembly on page 96.
●
Upper flatbed ribbon guide. See
Power supply on page 99 (steps 2 and 3).
2. Use needle-nose pliers to disconnect one connector (callout 1) and unclip three wire clips
(callout 2).

3. Disconnect the internal control-panel cable from the left side of the interconnect board (callout 3).
