Battery (2-cell, 47.36-WHr, 6.15-AHr, Li-ion; includes cable) L75783-005
Before removing the battery, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is o or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by rst unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4. Remove the keyboard/top cover (see Keyboard/top cover on page 20).
Remove the battery:
1. Release the support tape (1) that secures the battery cable to the system board.
2. Disconnect the battery cable (2) from the system board.
3. Remove the four Phillips M2.0×4.2 screws (3) that secure the battery to the bottom cover.
4. Remove the battery (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the battery.
