Speakers (include left and right speakers, cables, and four rubber isolators) L90434-001
Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is o or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by rst unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4. Remove the keyboard/top cover (see Keyboard/top cover on page 20).
5. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 26).
Remove the speakers:
1. Release the shielding (1) that secures the speaker cable to the system board and covers the speaker cable
connector.
2. Disconnect the speaker cable (2) from the system board.
3. Remove the three Phillips M2.0×4.2 screws (3) that secure the speakers to the bottom cover.
4. Remove the speakers (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the speakers.
