e. Detach the G-sensor board (3) from the display back cover. (The G-sensor board is attached to
the display back cover with double-sided adhesive.)
The G-sensor board is available using spare part number L73658-001.
14. If it is necessary to replace the display panel cable:
a. Remove the display panel assembly.
b. Position the display panel assembly with the panel facing down.
IMPORTANT: Before placing the display panel assembly with the panel facing down, make sure
there are no foreign objects (tools, screws) on the work surface. Failure to follow this note can lead to
damage to the display panel assembly.
c. Disconnect the display panel cable (1) from the touch control board.
d. Disconnect the display panel cable (2) from the G-sensor board.
e. Release the adhesive support strip (3) that secures the display panel cable to the display panel.
f. Disconnect the display panel cable (4) from the display panel.
g. Release the display panel cable from the retention clip (5) that secures it.
