Upper-cover assembly removal and replacement
Use the following procedure to remove the upper-cover assembly.
1. Remove the scanner.
2. Remove the face-up mechanism.
3. Remove four screws from the top of the cover.
4. Lift up the upper-cover assembly.
To replace the upper-cover assembly, follow the removal steps in reverse order.
Side cover removal and replacement
Use the following procedure to remove the side covers.
1. Remove the upper-cover assembly.
2. Turn over the upper-cover assembly.
