Clean the document-feeder backing
1. Open the scanner lid.
2. Locate the white, vinyl document-feeder backing.
3. Clean the document-feeder backing by wiping it with a clean, damp, lint-free cloth. Use an
ammonia-based surface cleaner only when a water-dampened cloth does not clean the
components.
4. Close the scanner lid.
