Reporting of WORM Media loads in the Event log.
Load details for WORM media, such as load count, thread count, serial number and barcode (if any),
are now reported in the event log when the media is loaded. Previously, this information was only
reported when a R/W data tape was loaded.
Resolution of persistent drive reservation issue
When the following conditions were true, Host B pre-empted the reservation from host A:
• Two h osts, A and B, register using the same key
• Host A reserves the drive (exclusive access)
• Host B pre-empts the reser vation (exclusive access)
This has been resolved and H ost B can no longer pre-empt the reservation from host A.
Improvement to Ultrium performance when reading varying
length blocks
In a very few instances, Read Transfer flushed during variable length block handling, which caused the
bmRdFlushTxfr() operation to take about 50ms. This h as now been resolved.
