5. Release the ZIF connector to which the TouchPad cable is attached, and disconnect the TouchPad

cable (1) from the system board.

6. Remove the four Phillips PM2.0×6.0 screws (2) that secure the top cover to the base enclosure.

7. Lift the rear edge of the top cover (1) until the top cover disengages from the base enclosure.

8. Remove the top cover (2).

Reverse this procedure to install the top cover.
