Step 8. Attach the Power Cord
1 Locate the power switch on the front
of the printer. Make sure the power
switch is off (O).
2 Connect the power cord between the
printer and a grounded power strip or
an AC outlet.
3 Switch the printer on (I).
4 After the printer warms up, the
display will read READY.
Note
The printer automatically switches to a
PowerSave mode after 30 minutes of
inactivity. (PowerSave is an
adjustable/optional setting. Refer to
Chapter 8 in the User’s Manual for
instructions on changing the time setting
or turning PowerSave off.) If the display
reads POWERSAVE ON, press [Go] to return
to the READY message.

see Chapter 7 of the User’s Manual.
