To display supported non-English languages, the use of cookies must be enabled in
your browser settings.
Host Name Specifies the IP host name assigned to the device and stored on the HP Jetdirect print
server. See TCP/IP on the
Networking Tab.
System Up Time The length of time since either the HP Jetdirect print server or the printer was last
powered off/on.
System Contact A text string (stored on the HP Jetdirect print server) for the name of a person to contact
for this device. See the Networking TCP/IP configuration pages.
System Location A text string (stored on the HP Jetdirect print server) that identifies the physical location
of this device. See the Networking TCP/IP configuration pages.
HP Jetdirect The product number assigned to the HP Jetdirect print server (for example HP J7973E)
for identification.
Firmware Version The version of the operating instructions installed on the HP Jetdirect print server.
IP Address The Internet Protocol address configured on the HP Jetdirect print server. For general
information on IP addresses, see
TCP/IP Overview.
Hardware Address
The LAN hardware (or MAC, Media Access Control) address of the HP Jetdirect print
server. This unique address is assigned by Hewlett-Packard.
Admin Password
Specifies whether or not an administrator password has been set. This password may
also be configured through a Telnet session with the HP Jetdirect print server, or from
HP Web Jetadmin.
Use the Admin Password page to set or clear administrator passwords.
If an administrator password has been set, you will be prompted for a User Name and
Password to access network parameters. For more information, click Help, or see the
Admin. Account section in this guide.
