2. Remove two screws (callout 1) in the hinge housings.
NOTE: The housing screws (callout 1) are longer than most of the screws used in the product.
You must use these longer screws in the hinge housings when you reinstall the document feeder.

3. Release the cables from one retainer (callout 1).
