Document feeder core assembly
Before proceeding, remove the following component:

Document feeder cover. See Document feeder cover on page 106.
Remove the document feeder core assembly
1. Pinch and rotate the cable cover (callout 1) to remove it.

2. Remove one FFC using the blue tab (callout 1).

TIP: The orientation of the FFC is important. When reinstalling it, make sure the blue tab is toward the
product right side. If the FFC is installed upside-down, the document feeder does not work.
