8.2 Terminology
This section contains definitions of technical terms that are used with a meaning specific to this
document. Terms defined in the [CC] are not reiterated here, unless stated otherwise.
Administrative User
This term refers to a user with administrative control of the TOE.
Authentication Data
This includes the Access Code and/or password for each user of the product.
Control Panel Application
An application that resides in the firmware and is selectable by the user via the Control Panel.
Device Administrator Password
The password used to restrict access to administrative tasks via EWS, WS*, and the Control Panel.
This password is also required to associate a user with the Administrator role. In product
documentation, it may also be referred to as the Local Device Administrator Password, Local
Device Administrator Access Code, the Device Password, or the Administrator Password.
External Interface
A non-hardcopy interface where either the input is being received from outside the TOE or the
output is delivered to a destination outside the TOE.
