Before removing the card reader/USB board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 29).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 30).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 38).
4. Remove the fan/heat sink (see Heat sink/fan assembly on page 44).
Remove the card reader/USB board:
1. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the card reader/USB board (1).
2. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 3.5 screw (2) that secures the board to the computer.
3. Lift the side of the board up, and then pull board up and into the computer to remove it (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the card reader/USB board.
