Disconnect the following cables:
(1) Fingerprint reader board cable
(2) LED board cable
(3) TouchPad board cable
(4) TouchPad on/off board cable
8. Remove the two Phillips PM2.5×5.0 screws (1) that secure the top cover to the computer.
9. Lift the rear edge of the top cover (2) until the top cover disengages from the computer.
10.
Remove the top cover.
Reverse this procedure to install the top cover.
