The HP PhotoSmart photo printer comes with its own software—a printer driver. This
driver must be installed for the photo printer to work with the PC.
Note: These instructions are an overview. The HP PhotoSmart Photo Printer User’s Guide
describes the software installation process in detail.
u Turn your computer ON
v Wait for Windows 95 to start up
ü When Windows 95 starts up, it finds the new printer and displays the New Hardware
Found message, shown below.
ü If a different message displays, click Cancel and then use the Add Printer Wizard to
install the photo printer software. See page 10 of the HP PhotoSmart Photo Printer
User’s Guide for instructions.
