2. Insert a tool into the access hole near the WLAN module in the upper left of the computer and push to
disengage the keyboard from the top cover (2).
3. Lift the top of the keyboard upward.
NOTE: A cable (or cables) connect the bottom of the keyboard to the system board. Make sure not to
prematurely pull the cables out of the system board connector(s).
4. Rotate the keyboard until it rests on the palm rest (1).
5. If applicable, disconnect the backlight cable from the system board ZIF connector.
6. Disconnect the keyboard cable from the system board reverse ZIF connector (3).
